Don’t sign up with 1and1 without checking with the Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau.
Its great when you have finally found a great web host, you have to take your time and choose carefully.
I think its a must to have your own hosting for your blogs and web sites. If your free host (like geocities) decides to shut down, you lose all your hard work. Yes free hosting is great, but you run the risk of not being in complete control of your development. Great Post!
Great post. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
This is a very good review for 1&1 Hosting, thanks for the info!
Cheers :)
quite interesting offer. I am currently using mocha, and so far got no problem with them, but what is really enticing with 1&1 is their price, really competitive.
great post, thanks for sharing!
I’m using them since 2004,but they are a bit expensive!
We moved to 1&1 from Fasthosts and the service is much better.
Fasthosts have the worst technical support I have ever used and would never go back.
Antony, LOL - Pretty much like what I've heard from my colleagues about Fasthosts :)
I agree that there are more cheaper web hosting companies these days - Everybody seems competing for the lowest pricing possible. Nevertheless, 1&1 has its own target market, I suppose.
Yes, it seems to be the best for me to start. Thank you.
It’s always best to pay because you get better service and more bandwidth. I am not sure about 1&1 though – would like to try them out but it’s not good to keep chopping and changeing webhosts becuase blogs need stability.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about 1&1 and not too many bad things, I guess I’ll have to check them out sometime. But yes It’s always better to pay for your own space than to use free blogs.
