You don’t need to rent an office space. The website is your office. Another benefit of internet marketing is it’s tracking ability, where you can find out your website performance like how many people visit it.
Internet marketing is associated with several business models:
- E-commerce — selling products using website. Your website can take orders and payment through payment gateway.
- Publishing — you can help other people who wants to advertise their products or services by selling advertising space.
- Lead-based websites — generates value by acquiring sales leads from its website.
- Affiliate marketing — helping other people to sell their product or service where you will usually receives a percentage of sales. For example I earn lots of money by selling Ken Evoy’s product.
Internet marketing has created a new job which is internet marketer who helps people selling their products or services. To become an internet marketer you need a website or an email list. By having a website you can sell advertising space, other people products and services. Or if you have an email list, you can email your list and offer them to buy products or services. You will then get paid if someone bought it.
