Using wordpress translator plugin

Yesterday, I talked about having more pages in Google index. The more pages you have in Google index, the more likely you will get traffic from Google SERP. Higher page indexed at Google will bring you higher PageRank. Here is one more tips: use a wordpress translator plugin. I tried http://www.nothing2hide.net. and so far it’s quite good. I’m quite impressed. By using this plugin theoritically, you will have multiple blog in various language. If your current blog has 100 page indexed by Google, and you have 10 language, then theoritically Google will index your page = 100 * 10 language = 1000 pages.

It supports these languages:

  • Italian
  • Korean
  • Chinese
  • Portuguese
  • German
  • French
  • Spanish
  • Japanesse
  • Arabic
  • Russian
  • Dutch
  • Bulgarian
  • Danish
  • Hindi
  • Swedish
  • Norwegian

Translation is provided by Google Translation Engine, Babel Fish, Promt, and FreeTranslations.com. It also Search Engine Optimized, because it uses the permalinks by adding the language code at the beginning of all your URI. For example the english version on www.domain.com/mycategory/mypost will be automatically transformed in www.domain.com/en/mycategory/mypost

Chris, I couldn't agree more - The translation often looks awful, but it's a great help to get a grasp of some of the content in foreign languages.

Thanks. I certainly wasn’t aware that there was a language translator plug-in, but what a great tip that is easy to implement and can result in higher page ranking.

This kind of plugins are an alternative for webmasters on a small budget. Although the translation is not exact, there are still chances of inducing clicks and sales.
