Having a eye catching cover is crucial for your ebook marketing. It sounds so simple, yet many publishers don’t take the time to design a cover that sells. There are many numerous ways to create your ebook cover:
- Use software that can help you design your own cover. It’s easy and quick. Some software have features like choosing the actual angle, lighting, adding reflections and more. You can try coverfactory, ebook cover, and groundbreak
- Hire an ebook cover artist to do it for you. This is a great way of saving time and money if you don’t have the necessary programs. You can find that person at forums like DigitalForum

In many ways it is all about visual appeal in first sights… judging books by their cover is commonly heard of phrase that certainly applies to many things in life. Its important to focus quite a bit on the design of the cover, in order to draw attention to it.

Couldn't be more accurate, Jean :) Design attracts people to read the content: If people aren't attracted to the cover design, how can they be attracted to the content?
Nice, short and to the point! It’s amazing to see how many people invest so much time and energy into writing and creating their ebooks. Then, only to completely disregard how their product is going to look on their site. Design really does play a large part when selling digital goods on the internet.
Cheers and agreed - The saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is not true for ebooks :D - Covers DO make differences!
Book covers are so important nowadays. The sells results are depending not only on the content but also the visual look and that is the sad element of modern times. E-book also need to look good to say to potential customer: “buy me, buy me now!”.
