With more people comment on your blog, the more traffic you will get. Regular commentator will do good on your blog. To encourage comments, you must “give” something to your visitor in return. It is backlink. You can use plugin for your wordpress to encourage comments. Here are my top plugin:
- Improved anchor text (KeywordLuv): This plugin will separate commentator name from their keywords in the link to their website, giving them improved anchor text.
- Show Top Commentators: This Plugin will shows top commentator. Usually you will put this on your sidabar so that commentator will gain backlink from your home page. You should disable the nofollow tag to lure more commentators.
- Subscribe to Comments: This plugin allows commentator to get e-mail notification if there is any new comments. When they read the email and are interested, they will come back and comment more.

KeywordLuv and CommentLuv are two really great wordpress plugins.
I really love keywordluv and commentluv plugins.
You could maybe add a feature like: every comment is nofollow until the author reaches 10 or more approved comments. It could help you gain more regular reader, but on the other end it has its disadvantages.
I like the commentluv plugin, but there’s another plugin coming out, very similar to this one - it’s called commentmilk, try it out!
i just love these plugins. I will be adding to al my blogs. Only have done half so far.
Internet Marketing is like real-time marketing in the sense that, it also requires a network of friends and associates. Online, these “associates” come in the form of communities and relevant links. Good websites that have them, gain tremendous advantages like, good ranking and/or referrals (as in the case affiliate marketing).
