How to put digg button into your wordpress post

Digg has a large visitor and can easily drive thousands of visitors to your site in a very short time. If people like a certain post, they will ‘vote’ the post. Top post will be put in front page and this will bring lots of traffic.

If you use wordpress, you can use digg to gain more traffic. First submit your post to digg.com. Then get your digg url by hovering your mouse to your article digg button. Right click the button and click ‘Copy shortcut’ to get the url.

Update your post at wordpress by putting [digg=http://digg.com/url_to_story_on_digg] and it’ll be transformed into a “Digg This” button.

Wonderful. Thank you. I hope this works. We have been getting about 100 hits a day to our trikeaband site, which leads to our wordpress site, but hopefully this will help!!

Thank you so much for pointing this out, reduces the work of installing a plugin to achieve this.

  • Any feedback from you?
