Branding your website

You can brand your website by using favicon (favorites icon) which associated with a particular website or webpage. Browsers that provide favicon support typically display a page’s favicon in the browser’s URL bar and next to the page’s name in a list of bookmarks. This will make you different from other blog or website. If you have your own logo, you can create favicon from it. I have not made it for this blog:).

You can create your favicon using free tool in the internet. Google for “favicon generator”. After you have the icon (.ico file), you can add the following code to your page:

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="/favicon.ico" >
